This week’s Carnival of Personal Finance is up at BankerGirl. I found a lot of good articles in this batch, but would like to highlight a few particularly notable ones:
I love a good list, and Squawfox offers a great list with 50 Ways to Save $1,000 a Year. There are enough alternatives on this list that everyone ought to be able to find at least one solid tip they can use.
There is a story I found fascinating at Can I Get Rich on a Salary: The Lady Whose $50,000 Emergency Fund Wasn’t Enough. I enjoy watching Suze Orman every so often, but missed the episode in question. Now I ask you, how the heck does the couple spend so much money? I’d love a follow-up on this one…
Blueprint for Financial Prosperity provides a great resource with Top 5 Online Banks: Savings or Checking Accounts. There is some additional, good information provided in the comments as well.
And I am happy to add that my article, 5 Easy Ways to Kick Start Your Retirement, is included in the carnival. Thank you to BankerGirl for the hard work in putting together this week’s edition.
